Draco Lizard (Flying Dragon)

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Draco volans
TYPE: Reptiles
DIET: Insectivore
The world is full of strange, beautiful places, and strange animals. For this time, we are going to talk about the "Flying Dragon".  They are small lizards that can easily float from the air around the tree to another tree. Flying Dragons eat by their tongues,  they use it to catch and eat insects like ants and termites. Lizards are also part of the "Reptiles family" which means their nature are related to snakes, crocodiles, turtles. For you to know if an animal is Reptile you may look at their skins and see if they have a dry skin that has scales in it and all of them lay their eggs on land. 

The special thing about the flying dragons are their wings, this wings are made up of their skin, it folds in the side of their bodies when they are not using it. Their wings are very colorful, bright and have spots in it. These animals are also found in the wooded area in Philippines, Borneo, and Southern India. Draco Lizards also know as "Flying Dragons" can jump a hundred feet between trees and when they leap, you will see their bright and colorful wings spread like an umbrella. Male Lizards are highly territorial they will use their ability to float to chase their rivals between two or three trees that they think as it is their own.
